Salmon Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (7 3/4 oz.) red salmon, drained, boned and flaked
    2 Tbsp. minced celery
    2 Tbsp. minced green onion, including some tops
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. liquid smoke
    thinly sliced cucumber
    crackers or toasted bread rounds
    thinly sliced green onions
    watercress sprigs
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix salmon, celery and minced green onion. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, pepper and liquid smoke.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill at least 1 hour to develop flavor or up to 24 hours.
    Just before serving, place a cucumber slice on crackers or toast.
    Top with salmon mixture and garnish with green onion slices and watercress.
    Makes 1 cup.
