Candy Apple Walnut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Cup Thinly Sliced Cooking Apples
    2/3 Cup Chopped Walnuts
    1/2 Cup Cinnamon Red Hot Candies
    1/3 Cup Plus 2 Tbsp. Sugar-Divided Usage
    1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
    2 Frozen Deep Dish Pie Crusts
Preparation
    In large bowl, toss together apples, walnuts, cinnamon candies, 1/3 cup sugar and flour.
    Pour into 1 frozen pie crust.
    Break or crumble second pie crust into very small pieces; toss with remaining 2 Tbsp. sugar.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake in preheated oven at 375 on a preheated baking sheet 55-60 minutes until candies melt and bubble up through crumbled crust.
    Cool completely before serving.
    Makes 8 Servings.
