Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) bag prepopped popcorn
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. brown sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. light Karo
    peanuts or mixed nuts to taste
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, salt and Karo.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and baking soda.
