Pennsylvania Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    4 c. shredded red cabbage
    2 c. cubed unpared apples
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    dash of pepper
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
Preparation
    Heat drippings in skillet.
    Add all ingredients to it with 1/4 cup water.
    Cook, covered, over low heat.
    Stir occasionally. Crispy = 15 minutes.
    Tender = 25 to 30 minutes.
