Rainbow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare cake as directed.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cook cake in pan 15 minutes, then prick with utility fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
    Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add cold water and carefully pour over warm cake.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
