Vanilla Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
1/4 c. milk

Preparation

Combine shortening, salt and vanilla and add 1/4 of the sugar. Add milk and remaining sugar alternately.
Mix until smooth and of spreading consistency.
