Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste (optional)
    water (to cover)
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and simmer all about 1 1/2 hours, until tender.
    Before serving, add sour cream thickened with flour.
    Heat and serve over rice.
    Freezes well.
