Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 c. strawberries
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 box strawberry jello
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation
    Bake pie crust and set aside.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water.
    Boil for 3 minutes until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add jello until dissolved.
    Cool mixture.
    Place sliced strawberries in cooled pie crust.
    Pour jello mixture over strawberries.
    Cool for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped topping and serve.
