Ham And Cheese Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1/2 c. minced onion
    medium potatoes (2 lb.), pared and thinly sliced
    2 to 3 c. diced ham
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onion and cook until tender (5 minutes). Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
    In a 2-quart greased casserole, layer half the potatoes, ham cubes and sauce.
    Repeat layers and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake covered at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Uncover and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
