Portuguese Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 stalks celery, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. olive oil
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 c. tomato puree
1 c. chopped Italian sausage
6 c. chicken broth
3 bay leaves
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 c. chopped parsley
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. noodles
1/2 c. red wine
Preparation
-
Saute onion, celery and garlic in oil until transparent.
Add tomatoes, tomato puree and sausage (chunks).
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove bay leaves and serve.
