Peach Apple Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pitted and chopped peaches
    2 c. chopped apples
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon peel
    3 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine ingredients; mix well.
    Cook slowly until thick and transparent, about 1 hour, stirring often.
    Ladle into hot jars; seal.
    Makes 2 pints.
