1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 tsp. cornstarch
2 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
1 large can beets, drained
Preparation

Prepare butter, cornstarch, salt, sugar and vinegar as for a medium white sauce, then add beets and heat thoroughly.
