Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 to 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Slightly beat eggs; add sugar, syrup, milk, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for an additional 30 to 40 minutes or until filling is puffed in center and browned.
