Baked Fish Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fish fillets, thawed
2 tsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
1/3 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 1/2 c. canned or fresh tomatoes, chopped
gumbo file to taste (optional)
lemon slices
Preparation

Place fish fillets in greased shallow baking dish (the dish should be small enough so that the sauce completely covers fillets.
In small skillet melt butter and saute until tender, green pepper, onion and garlic.
Add and heat tomatoes.
Pour Creole sauce over top of fillets.
Place thin slices of lemon over top.
Bake uncovered in 425\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
