Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
4 to 5 stalks celery, diced
1/2 medium onion, diced
clove of fresh garlic
1/2 to 1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, diced
2 bouillon cubes
2 c. water
1 can kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 head cabbage (or as much as pan will hold)
salt
Preparation

Brown first four ingredients in large, heavy Dutch oven. Drain grease and add remaining ingredients, except cabbage. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, adding cabbage last 1/2 hour of cooking time.
