Microwave Baked Apple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large apples (any variety except Red Delicious)
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. raisins (optional)
    4 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Core apples, leaving blossom end intact.
    (Using small end of melon ball tool works nicely.)
    Peel away skin from top of apple about 1/4 of the way to prevent bursting.
    Fill apples with brown sugar, butter and raisins.
    Add a dash of cinnamon on top.
    Add 2 Tbsp. of water to dish.
    Cook covered in microwave dish on High about 5 minutes.
    Cook until apples are tender.
    Serve plain or with ice cream.
