Shenondoah Valley Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
3 c. diced apples
4 tsp. flour
3 eggs
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Beat together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla for 3 minutes. Sift 2 cups flour, salt and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients, beating well after each addition.
Stir in apples.
Combine walnuts and 4 teaspoons flour and stir in batter.
Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool in pan on rack.
Makes 16 servings.
