Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn oil
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    4 unbeaten eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    4 large apples, peeled and sliced thin
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar; blend in eggs.
    Sift together the flour and baking powder.
    Mix into creamed mixture.
    Toss together apples, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Grease and flour a tube pan. Pour 1/2 of batter into pan.
    Layer 1/2 of apples on the batter. Pour remaining batter over apple layer.
    Top with remaining apples. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
