Italian Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried white beans
    2 c. brown stock
    6 c. water
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 large carrots, diced
    1 clove garlic
    3 stalks celery
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 tsp. fresh basil
    1 c. macaroni (1/2 c. uncooked)
    1 c. tomatoes
    1 c. diced red skin potatoes
    1/4 c. white wine (optional)
Preparation
    Cook beans with stock and water 1 1/2 hours or until al dente. Add all vegetables, tomatoes, olive oil, garlic and basil. Continue cooking until vegetables are soft.
    Add wine.
