Blueberry Sally Lunn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2/3 c. blueberries
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar together. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add this alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Carefully fold in blueberries.
    Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 in preheated oven for 50 minutes.
    Serve hot; may be reheated.
