Everlasting Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 large cabbage, thinly sliced or chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine the cabbage, pepper and sugar and mix well.
    Bring remaining ingredients to boil.
    Pour boiling mixture over cabbage mixture.
    Store in refrigerator in covered container.
    Keeps at least 4 weeks.
