Baked Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 chicken breast halves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. margarine
10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
3/4 c. chicken broth
1 small can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp. crushed thyme leaves
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Brown on all sides in margarine.
Arrange chicken in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Stir soup into butter in skillet; slowly stir in chicken broth.
Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
Pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 35 minutes more.
