Mother'S Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken, cooked
broth
black pepper
salt
3 Tbsp. melted butter
pie crust
Preparation

Cook chicken.
When cool, remove skin and fat, then cut chicken in small pieces.
Using broth from cooking chicken, make enough thick gravy to cover chicken.
Mix chicken with gravy. Season with black pepper and additional salt, if needed.
Add melted butter.
Line 10-inch deep pie dish with pie crust; pour in chicken mixture.
Cover with pie crust.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
If desired, serve with additional gravy.
This dish was mother's favorite to serve for special occasions.
