Italian Beef Rice Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or 1/2 beef and 1/2 Italian sausage, sliced
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 small can tomatoes, cut in pieces
    1/2 c. Uncle Ben's rice
    1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Drain mushrooms and tomatoes, reserving juice.
    Add water to juice to make 2 cups of liquid.
    Add mushrooms, tomatoes, liquid, rice and sauce mix to meat.
    Stir. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes or until rice is tender and mixture right consistency. Stir occasionally.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
