Deme'S Raisin Jumbo Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. raisins
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 c. water
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
