Cherry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 to 2 cans cherry pie filling
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 small container Cool Whip
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick melted butter
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers

Preparation

In a large, flat Pyrex dish, spread pie filling.
Beat together cream cheese, Cool Whip, sugar and vanilla.
Spread evenly on top of pie filling.
