Brine For Smoking Fish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pickling salt
1 c. brown sugar
12 whole cloves
2 Tbsp. crushed bay leaves
1 gal. water
Preparation
-
Dissolve salt in small amount of hot water.
Add to gallon of water and rest of ingredients.
Heat to boil and let cool.
Let your fish soak overnight in brine and smoke over hickory chips or chips of your choice.
