Chocolate Peppermint Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box devil's food cake mix
    1 tsp. mint extract
    1 1/2 c. chilled whipping cream
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. mint extract
    3 drops red food coloring
    1/3 c. chopped peppermint candies
    1 chocolate ready-to-spread frosting
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package, except stir 1 teaspoon mint extract into batter.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake as directed.
    Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely. Cut cake crosswise into halves.
