Fig Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. mashed figs (about 20 medium figs)
    2 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix figs, jello and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and continue boiling for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour quickly into prepared jars and seal.
    Makes 6 jars.
