Prize Winning Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. catsup
    3/4 c. quick oats
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into ungreased 8 x 4 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake for 1 hour. About 30 minutes into baking time, mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup catsup, 1 tablespoon mustard and 2 tablespoons brown sugar; pour over top of meat loaf and continue cooking another 30 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
