Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. soda
3 c. cut raw rhubarb
Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Top with a mixture of 1/2 cups sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
