Mrs. Capp'S Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce(1961) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    14 1/2 oz. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter in top of double boiler.
    Add chocolate and blend. Add sugar, milk and salt and cook on low heat, stirring frequently, for 20 minutes.
