Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 yellow squash (approximately 6 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. grated cheese
    8 saltine crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Slice and boil squash until tender; drain.
    Combine all ingredients except a small amount of cheese and crackers.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
