Company Breakfast Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    9 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    8 slices day-old bread
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown the sausage and drain excess fat.
    Mix other ingredients and add to the cooled sausage.
    Place in buttered 9 x 11 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Place in refrigerator covered overnight or several hours.
    Next morning, bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    If you prefer, you can substitute bacon that has been fried and crumbled or ham in place of the sausage.
    This is very good and a nice dish to fix when you have company overnight.
