Country Style Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    milk or sweet milk
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and eggs one at a time; beat well.
    Add part of the combined flour, baking soda and cream of tartar, alternating with milk until all is used.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Roll thin and cut with cookie cutter into desired shape.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
