Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 small onion, chopped
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 to 1 can French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Mix hash brown potatoes, sour cream, chopped onion, salt, pepper and soup.
    Spread in 11 x 13-inch baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
    Top with onion rings.
    Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
