Cheesy Mashed Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 med. potatoes, peeled
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    8 oz sour cream
    1/4 lb. butter, softened
    Dash garlic salt
    dash pepper
    1/2 C cheddar cheese, grated
    2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until done, then mash.
    Add cream cheese, sour cream, butter, seasoning, and onion.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a 2 1/2 quart buttered casserole.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
    Yield 8-10 servings.
