Rice Pilaff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 1/4 c. chicken broth (or make from bouillon cubes and water)
    1 tsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt (scant)
    1 tsp. dried onion flakes
    1 small can mushrooms (optional)
    1 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Microwave 5 minutes on High, then 15 to 20 minutes on 50% power or Medium.
    Let stand at least 5 minutes.
    Add the mushrooms; cook through, but don't let rice get mushy.
    Serve hot, topped with parsley.
