Homestyle Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 c. bread crumbs
2 1/2 Tbsp. minced parsley
3 cloves minced garlic
1 egg
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 green pepper, cut in strips
2 c. beef broth
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 and coat large roasting pan with cooking spray.
Combine first 8 ingredients and form into 1-inch balls. Place meatballs on roasting pan and bake for 15 minutes or until browned.
Gently loosen meatballs from the bottom of the pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs.
Cover meatballs and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove cover and bake additional 10 to 15 minutes to thicken sauce.
