Summertime Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, sliced, boiled and drained
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped fine
    1 1/2 c. crushed herb croutons
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Boil and drain squash.
    Mix onion, bell pepper, soup and sour cream in squash.
    Melt margarine and add croutons.
    Mix in squash mixture with 1/2 of cheese. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
    Pour into casserole dish.
    Top with remainder of cheese. Melt a little more margarine and toss 1 cup croutons and put on top of cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    (Can be frozen before or after baking.)
