Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and sugar.
Add the egg and mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients.
Pat onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Spread with chocolate frosting when cooled.
