Aunt Ola'S Oven Baked Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef
    2 tsp. salt
    3 onions
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can beef consomme
    4 stalks celery, diced
    5 potaotes, cut in 1 inch chunks
    6 carrots, cut in 1 inch chunks
    5 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
Preparation
    Season meat with salt.
    Arrange meat and vegetables in a 3-quart casserole.
    Pour tomatoes and consomme over meat mixture and sprinkle tapioca on top.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 hours or all day.
    You can not overcook, since the longer it cooks the better it tastes.
