Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water or water and juice to equal
    1 lb. frozen strawberries, thawed or 2 (10 oz.) pkg.
    No. 2 can crushed pineapple (not drained, Del Monte is best)
    2 large bananas, sliced
    1 pt. sour cream, mixed to smooth consistency
    2 pkg. Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    3 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    3 large bananas
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add cold water.
    Add the thawed strawberries and the undrained pineapple, then add the banana slices.
    Pour half of this into a 9 x 13-inch dish; refrigerate until set well enough to spread the sour cream on top. Add the remaining half of the Jell-O mixture carefully, so that it remains on top.
    Continue to refrigerate until well set.
