Turnip Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped sweet red pepper
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion (green)
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. shredded, peeled turnips
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine all ingredients, except turnips.
    Pour over turnips and toss well to coat.
    Refrigerate several hours for flavors to blend.
    Yields 4 servings.
