Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk and salad oil; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until flour is moistened.
Batter will be lumpy.
Bake on hot griddle.
Makes eight 4-inch pancakes.
