Chicken Liver With Bacon And Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chicken livers
4 slices bacon
2 Tbsp. flour
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen Italian green beans
rice (white or fried)
Preparation

Trim livers.
Cook bacon.
Crumble.
Drain on paper towels. Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings in a large skillet.
Roll chicken livers in flour to coat.
Brown on all sides in drippings (5 to 10 minutes).
Stir in 1/4 cup water, scraping up brown bits from skillet.
Add beans.
Cover and cook 10 minutes, until beans are tender.
Livers should be brown outside and slightly pink inside.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
Serve on white rice or with fried rice.
Yields 4 servings.
