One Minute Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Put 1/2 cup sugar in black skillet and heat until it melts. Heat 1 1/2 cups sugar, butter and milk.
    When hot, add the sugar you have melted and cook for 1 minute after it begins to boil. Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Beat until smooth enough to go on cool cake.
