South-Of-The-Border Special - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. ripe olives (optional)
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
minced garlic or garlic powder to taste
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
nacho cheese tortillas chips
Preparation

In large frypan, brown ground beef and onions, add green peppers, cooking slightly.
Then add tomato sauce and the next six ingredients.
Simmer at least five minutes.
Serve over tortilla chips and top with shredded lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes, chopped onions, green peppers, shredded sharp cheese, sour cream and salsa, if desired.
