Rosy Apple Pie - cooking recipe

5 c. apples, sliced
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. grated lemon
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 to 4 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Pare and slice apples.
Simmer peelings in water, covered for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Add lemon and lemon juice to apples. Mix thoroughly.
