No-Weep Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine and cook over low heat until it turns white; cool. Beat 3 egg whites very stiff, then fold in cooled mixture.
    Spread on pie and brown in oven at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
